Air Liquide subsidiary rents 30,000 sqm in Frankfurt

The former headquarters of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Frankfurt's Mertonviertel has a new tenant. The around 30,000 sqm building at Olof-Palme-Strasse 35 is to become the German headquarters of Global E&C Solutions, the energy technology division of the French concern Air Liquide and its Lurgi brand. Savills advised the tenant. It is the largest lease closing on the Frankfurt office market this year. Round Hill Capital is the asset manager and one of the building's owners. Lurgi is already located in the Mertonviertel; the move with more than 800 employees is to take place during the first quarter of 2014. Prior to that, the owners are having the building expanded and renovated.
