A&M Captiva acquires retail portfolio for €30mn

In an off-market transaction for approx. €30mn, A&M Captiva has acquired the so-called Nordwind portfolio. The seller of the 19 retail properties is an investment vehicle of Vos Investment Groep NV. The total rental area is approx. 23,000 sqm with a vacancy rate of 2.4%. Principal tenants include companies of the Edeka Group with long-term leases. The properties built between 2007 and 2009 are mainly located in central and northern Germany, including Algermissen, Bassum, Derenburg, Eisleben, Hechthausen, Hude, Luckenwalde, Mühlberg, Strausberg, Wanna and Westerstede. The purchase was made for a Spezialfonds advised by A&M Captiva in accordance with German law. A&M Captiva has announced additional purchases. In addition to retail properties, healthcare properties, primarily medical centres, are to be acquired for a new investment vehicle planned for the 2nd quarter.
