Vattenfall parts with 850 apartments

Energy company Vattenfall has sold part of its residential portfolio to a private consortium. The portfolio called "Noa" consists of approx. 850 residential and commercial units, approx. 290 garages and nearly 140 garden properties spread over Brandenburg, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia. The buyers are Hau + S Bauträger GmbH, Oberhaching, and the corporate group Gerico, Schwielowsee near Berlin. JLL oversaw the sale through a structured bidding process. According to Vattenfall, the residential portfolio sold is "not an operational necessity".
