Scope

This privacy statement informs users about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data on this website (hereinafter referred to as “website”) by the responsible provider,
THOMAS DAILY GmbH, Ingeborg-Krummer-Schroth-Str. 30, 79106 Freiburg, Tel.: +49 761 38 55 9 600, info@thomas-daily.de.

The legal basis of data protection can be found in the German Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz – BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz – TMG).

Access data/server log files

The provider collects data (in the form of server log files) about each occasion on which the website is accessed. This access data includes:
the name of the web page being accessed, the file, the date and time of access, the amount of data transmitted, notification of successful access, the browser type and version, the user’s operating system, the referrer URL (the web page visited immediately beforehand) and the shortened IP address.

Processing of personal data

Personal data is information which helps to identify a person, in other words it refers to details which can be traced back to a particular individual. It includes names, email addresses and telephone numbers. Personal data may also include information about preferences, hobbies, memberships and the web pages someone has viewed.

Provided that doing so is permitted by law or users consent to its collection, personal data is only collected, used and stored by the provider if users fill in the contact form provided or register for the newsletter. Personal data is not passed on to third parties.

Establishment of contact

If users contact the provider (for instance by using the contact form or by email), their details will be stored in order for the provider to process their enquiry and respond to them at a later date in the event of any queries.

Newsletter

Mit den Newslettern informieren wir Sie über das aktuelle Marktgeschehen, sowie über uns und unsere Angebote.
Our newsletter informs you about the latest market developments as well as providing details about our company and services.
To sign up for the newsletter, you will need to provide us with a valid email address, which we will then use to check whether you are the owner of the specified email address or, if you entered an email address on behalf of someone else, whether the owner of the email address agrees to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected. This data is only used to deliver the newsletter and is not passed on to third parties.

You may withdraw your consent at any time for your data and email address to be stored and for it to be used to send you the newsletter. You can do so by clicking on a link in the newsletter itself or by informing us of your wishes using the means of contact detailed above.

Inclusion of third-party services and content

This website includes information from a third-party provider in the form of maps and photographic material from Google Maps, which can be found on various parts of the site (e.g. in the Projecs section). This requires the third-party provider to be able to detect users’ IP addresses at all times. We endeavour only to include content of this kind from suppliers which exclusively use IP addresses in order to deliver content. However, we have no control over how third-party providers store and process IP addresses. We always notify users accordingly if we become aware of the manner in which such data is employed.
