Cologne: Internos buys Triforum from HIH for €53mn


Internos Global Investors has acquired the “Triforum” in Cologne’s Ehrenfeld district for the “real value plus” fund managed by Institutional Investment Partners. The purchase price was €53mn. Hamburgische Immobilien Handlung, on commission by the Warburg – Henderson Deutschland Fonds Nr. 1, was the seller. The 24,000 sqm Triforum comprises a four-star, 205-room Park Inn by Radisson hotel and a 15,000 sqm office complex. The announcement said the transaction was finalized before the end of 2014. The portfolio of hotel properties in the eurozone managed by Internos since 2012 has grown to 15 hotels with a value of approximately €500mn. Internos said it would buy more hotel real estate this year for just under €200mn.
