Hamburg: Hochtief sells project in historic center to Switzerland-based firm
Hochtief Projektentwicklung has sold a planned residential and retail building in Hamburg’s historic center to Zurich-based East Guardian Immobilien. Blue Asset Management represented the buyer, and Angermann acted as an agent for the sale transaction. Hochtief will build the “Kontorhaus Handelsreich” property on an around 930 sqm site at Hopfenmarkt 33. The above-ground GFA with almost 6,600 sqm will primarily provide office space, while the ground floor will be for retail and restaurant units, and four apartments are projected for the top floor. Architecture firm Martin Hecht drafted the designs. The scheduled completion date is at the end of 2016.
