Berlin: Round Hill buys 770 residential units


Round Hill Capital has bought 770 residential apartments in Berlin, largely within the districts of Mitte and Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. The British investment manager just recently acquired a Hamburg residential portfolio with 114 units, signalling the building of a portfolio in 15 German metro areas. The Berlin residences are supervised by the local subsidiary Residea. The investors in the residential portfolio include Bluerock Group and an international insurance group. Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, Simmons & Simmons, PWC, Klein & von Stahl, and Trinavis advised.
