Strabag PFS loses large Telekom order to ISS

Deutsche Telekom has awarded the facility management for approx. 9,000 German locations to ISS. Its cooperation with the former FM service provider Strabag PFS will end in June 2019. For Strabag PFS, this means a loss of over half a billion euros in revenue. The company recently saw an annual turnover of around €1.1bn. The Telekom account involved approx. 3,300 employees, including 800 executives. “After 2019, without this account, our performance will drop substantially at first,” said Hannes Truntschnig, member of the Strabag executive board and chairman of its supervisory board. For ISS, this contract is the largest so far in the firm’s history. It will commit roughly 6,000 of its employees to the ten-year contract.
