Coresis fund buys Jobcenter in Dortmund


Coresis Management of Bad Homburg v.d.H. and Universal-Investment have purchased the office property Kampstraße 49 in Dortmund. The building, which was modernized in 2017, offers around 8,600 sqm office space. Long-term tenant is the city of Dortmund, which operates its employment agency in the building. The property in a prime downtown location was sold by Bollmann Liegenschaften from Bochum, who had bought it in 2016, revitalized it, and leased it to the Jobcenter. Omega Immobilien advised on the transaction. The purchase was made for the Spezialfonds Deutsche Kommunalimmobilien. The fund, which is geared toward institutional investors, is managed by Coresis, Universal-Investment is acting as fund administrator.
