Erlangen: Corner stone for €100mn office building laid

The corner stone for a new office building for the nuclear engineering company Areva NP has been laid in Erlangen-South. Owner and investor in the €100mn project is Dibag Industriebau AG. A three building complex including about 60,000 sqm of gross floor area for around 2,200 employees is planned. Completion is scheduled for mid 2010. Areva also leased 5,000 sqm in the”Atrium” office complex in Erlangen’s Tennenlohe district. That complex is now under construction and is owned by Sontowski & Partner. By 2015, space for 3,000 more jobs is also to be developed in a new building in Erlangen-Eltersdorf. This project is still under bid.
