Aik’s managed real estate assets grow to €3.4bn
The Düsseldorf real estate company Aik acquired ten properties last year for around €240mn, bringing its purchasing volume to the same level as in previous years. Focus of acquisition was on Germany. The company also added the Northern Italy region to its investment markets. Letting performance came to approx. 170,000 sqm with an annual rental volume of around €34mn. Property assets under management rose by 10% year-on-year to around €3.4bn. The real estate investments achieved a BVI return of around 8.5%, according to aik – above the industry average. In 2017, this figure was given as 10.2%. Distributions in 2018 amounted to around 4.2% of the equity used.
