Berlin: Hamburg Commercial Bank finances Pandion project with €70mn
Hamburg Commercial Bank (formerly HSH Nordbank) is handing Cologne-based developer Pandion financing of €70mn for the project “The Shelf” in Berlin-Kreuzberg. The bank had already been on board with financing the land purchase on Prinzenstraße 89/90. “The Shelf” will be a commercial park with nearly 14,000 sqm office and 3,400 sqm retail and storage space. Plans further include 200 bicycle parking slots and 80 parking spaces. Pandion is also developing a commercial complex called “The Grid” on the adjacent lot Prinzenstraße 34. The company had bought both lots in early 2018 from car rental company Robben&Wientjes.
