WeWork has found another location in Berlin. The office space provider has leased more than 10,000 sqm on the site of the former Bötzow brewery in Prenzlauer Berg. Occupation is planned for July 2021. WeWork is initially taking over two historic buildings currently being converted according to plans by David Chipperfield Architects. In addition, the firm has leased two new structures which are to be completed in 2024. Apart from the classic WeWork spaces, the location at Prenzlauer Allee 242 will also offer “headquarters by WeWork”, a release states. The new business unit was introduced last year in the USA and offers completely private, personalized and flexible work space solutions, the release continues. This is the twelfth WeWork location in Berlin; six are open and running, and five more have been announced. The Bötzow site is being developed by Laborgh Investment and belongs to the German entrepreneur Hans Georg Näder.
