BGA: Institutional investors increasingly interested in subsidized housing
Transaction consultancy BGA Invest recorded a transaction volume of €627mn in 2018 – 5 % more than the previous year and more than any other year in the company’s history. Nearly half of the transactions were in residential assets at €300mn. Particularly, the interest of institutional investors in subsidized housing has increased, BGA states, adding that they expect demand in this area to continue to grow. Further, BGA achieved €166mn with brokering construction land and developments, and more than €161mn with brokering commercial assets. Since the beginning of the year, Stefan Sus (Head of Cooperation and Sales Management) and Georg Hien (Head of Corporate Development) have joined the firm’s management team.
