Cycas: Long-stay operator takes over Marriott Hotel at Frankfurt Airport

Dutch hotel operator Cycas is following through on its ambitions for the German market and has been operating its first hotel at Frankfurt Airport since mid-December. The hotel is the privately-owned Element Frankfurt Airport in the Gateway Gardens district. The establishment opened in 2014 under Mariott’s Elements brand, which offers long-stay arrangements. It has 133 suites, a restaurant on the ground floor, and conference facilities, and was previously operated by the Bari Group. Cycas currently runs 14 hotels with more than 3,700 long-stay suites in the UK, France, and Benelux. By 2022, the company intends to have 10,000 rooms under contract, 4,000 of them in Germany.
