Deutsche Investment buys residential package for €220mn


The capital manager Deutsche Investment Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft has acquired 1,088 apartments and 103 commercial units in Berlin, Leipzig, and Schönberg near Lübeck for their special asset funds. The package includes 38 properties in the nation’s capital (Friedrichshain, Moabit, Wedding, among other locations), four buildings and a vacant lot in and around Leipzig, and a multi-family residential building in Schönberg (county of Nordwestmecklenburg). According to a release, some of the assets offer “significant potential for infill.” The total investment volume is around €220mn. The seller is an internationally active capital company of a European family office. GSK Stockmann, KPMG, and acht+ Baumanagement advised the buyer. Mazars brokered the deal and advised the seller jointly with BRL Boege Rohde Luebbehuesen.
