Eckpfeiler buys Obi market in Munich


Eckpfeiler Immobiliengruppe has acquired the Obi home improvement market in Munich-Neuaubing from a fund by Aberdeen Standard Investments. The market was built in 2009 on a 24,000 sqm site between Pasing and Freiham. Eckpfeiler states it has over 11,000 sqm floor space. A long-term lease has been established with Obi. Eckpfeiler’s Managing Director Wolfgang Bogner states that the property also has large development potential. Standard Life had acquired the asset in 2015, prior to its merger with Aberdeen.
