Eintracht Frankfurt to build pro soccer camp
Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG is to receive about 18,000 sqm of land on Otto-Fleck-Schneise next to the Commerzbank-Arena in a building lease. The municipal authorities now approved the proposal. Subject to the approval of the city council, Eintracht will receive a 60-year building lease for the site of the former tennis court facility on the stadium grounds, where it plans to build a professional soccer camp. The property is to hold sports areas, offices, a medical and rehabilitation center, a fan shop and a parking deck. The parties agreed to a provisional annual ground rent of around €174,000 based on of a valuation report and to be adjusted to changes to the German Consumer Price Index every five years.
