Hamburg: HBH buys 100 apartments in “Tarpenbeker Ufer”


Otto Wulff Projektentwicklung has sold 102 rental apartments in Hamburg’s “Tarpenbeker Ufer” quarter to Hanseatische Baugenossenschaft Hamburg eG. The transaction involves the plot number 6, on which nine buildings are being constructed to provide around 8,150 sqm of privately financed living space and underground parking for 90 vehicles. Construction has already begun; completion is scheduled for the 1st half of 2020. The “Tarpenbeker Ufer” quarter is located on the site of the former Lokstedt freight depot in the city’s Groß-Borstel district and consists of ten building plots, on which approx. 950 condominiums as well as privately financed and publicly subsidized rental apartments are being built. HBH was founded in 1949 and currently owns approx. 6,850 apartments.
