Hamburg Team launches senior residence fund – first purchase near Berlin
Hamburg Team Investment Management (HTIM) has launched its first fund that will be investing exclusively in senior residences. The AIF “Hamburg Team Wohnen 70+” is to cover the entire spectrum from barrier-free living to different forms of assisted living all the way to 24h care facilities. The vehicle addresses German institutional investors, who can expect yields between 5 and 5.5 %. The target volume is €350mn. The first property being acquired for the fund in a forward deal is an assisted living complex with 59 units and about 4,400 sqm lettable space in Dallgow-Döberitz near Berlin. Seller and developer Quattrohaus intends to complete the residence by mid-2020. The project is co-financed by crowd investor Exporo.
