International Campus appoints Rainer Nonnengässer as CEO
More is now known regarding Rainer Nonnengässer’s recent departure from MPC at the end of last year – he’s been named the new CEO of the International Campus Group (IC). Zach Vaughan, Managing Partner at the Canadian company Brookfield Asset Management, says that Nonnengässer is the ideal candidate to lead IC in the next growth phase. Brookfield acquired a controlling stake in IC last March. Nonnengässer was CEO of MPC’s Micro Living subsidiary, with the “Staytoo” brand; before that he was CEO of Youniq. IC also develops and operates apartments for students under the name “FIZZ”. Its portfolio currently holds around 12,000 apartments.
