Kiel: TAS acquires €115mn project on “the Hörn” from DIP
The Hamburg developer TAS has purchased the construction project on the Willy-Brandt-Ufer in the Hörn development area in Kiel as well as the related plots 13, 14, and 15 from Deutsche Immobilien Projektentwicklung (DIP). Plans include three buildings on 45,000 sqm GFA with 350 apartments, 105 subsidized student apartments, 6,000 sqm of commercial space (serviced apartments and microapartments), a day care center, and underground parking garages with around 500 spaces. DIP had presented revised plans for the site in May, under the name Kailight. TAS now estimates a project volume of €115mn. The company is currently coordinating an urban planning competition with the City of Kiel. Construction is expected to begin in late 2019, with completion in 2023.
