LEG: COO Holger Hentschel leaving – new head for Digital


Holger Hentschel, LEG Immobilien’s Chief Operation Officer, is leaving the company on October 1st by mutual agreement. Hentschel, 52, began his career in 1985 at LEG Landesentwicklungsgesellschaft, then owned by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. He has held various management positions at LEG since 1997, and had been a member of the Management Board since the company went public in 2013. CEO Thomas Hegel will now assume additional responsibility for the operating business, while handing over the areas of corporate development, innovation management, and IT as well as the management of LEG Solution (company for handling old projects and implementing new construction projects) and EnergieServicePlus to the newly created position of Chief Digital Officer (CDO) next year. Lars von Lackum, previously a board member at Ergo International AG, will be appointed to this position. The responsibilities of CFO and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Management Eckhard Schultz will remain unchanged.
