LIP Invest buys Siemens extension near Berlin


LIP Invest has acquired a property leased to Siemens in Ludwigsfelde near Berlin for its open-ended Spezialfonds “Logistics Germany”. The 10,000 sqm new structure, which supplements the company’s existing 25,000 sqm logistics center, was developed and sold by Harder & Partner. Siemens uses the location to ship more than 30,000 spare parts for gas turbines. Deutsche Hypothekenbank has provided a ten-year €34.5mn loan for this and three other fund assets in Braunschweig, Achim near Bremen, and Remscheid.
