Meyer Bergman buys two properties in Berlin and Hamburg

Meyer Bergman has acquired two assets in Berlin and Hamburg for its closed European Retail Partners III fund. The property in Berlin is a former power substation dating from the 1920s in Neukölln. It will offer 1,800 sqm loft office space. A four-story office complex with 2.600 sqm lettable space will be developed on the neighboring lot. A preliminary building permit has been issued. Meyer Bergman was advised on this transaction by Cityjung Real Estate; IKB provided financing. In Hamburg, the investment manager acquired a 7,400 sqm property on Schulterblatt. The five-story building has retail space on the ground floor and offices in the upper floors. It is currently completely leased to companies like Weekday, Vodafone, and Granit.
