Munich: Zoning plan for up to 2,000 Eggarten apartments underway
CA Immo and Büschl Group will likely be able to start construction on a residential quarter in Munich’s Feldmoching-Hasenbergl district in 2024. The plan will include 1,750 to 2,000 apartments on the roughly 21 ha site of the so-called Eggarten, for which the city council has now decided to issue a zoning plan. In the fall of this year, an urban planning and landscaping competition is to be initiated. The quarter will be a model in both social as well as ecological terms, CA Immo states in a release. For instance, between 40 and 50 % of the units will be developed by building coops as subsidized housing; a declaration of intent has already been established with the Genossenschaftliche Immobilienagentur (Gima).
