Pantera and Ten Brinke start housing project on barracks grounds in Palatinate
Pantera has broken ground on the restoration of the landmarked former “Stengelkaserne” in Germersheim (Palatinate) and its conversion into a housing complex. By the middle of 2020, the former barracks will be turned into 87 condominiums with one to three rooms, sized between 35 and 123 sqm. In addition, 138 new rental units will be built on the 25,000 sqm site. After completion, these new units will become part of the portfolio of Dutch real estate firm Ten Brinke, who had bought the section last year and is cooperating with Pantera on the development. The building permit for the new construction is anticipated any day now, after plans had to be changed due to historical finds on the lot. Pantera and Ten Brinke together are investing €35mn.
