VGP agrees on large logistics projects with Amazon and BMW


Logistics developer VGP will be building an 80,000 sqm logistics center for Amazon on extension lots of its logistics park on Groner Siekanger in Göttingen, as was released in a quarterly report. The firm also conveys having established a contract with BMW for construction of a new storage building in Parsdorf near Munich. As soon as all permits have been obtained, the car manufacturer wants to build a storage facility for its research and innovation center. VGP, who transfers its finished properties into a joint venture with Allianz, reports having acquired a total of 1.15 million sqm of land across Europe since the beginning of the year. In September, the company sold the logistics center of textiles retailer Mango in Barcelona for €150mn.
