Warburg-HIH buys part of Darmstadt’s Europa-Arkaden

Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate has bought a section of the Europa Arkaden in Darmstadt. The office building is to be added to the Spezialfonds Deutschland Selektiv Immobilien Invest. The seller of the property in the Europaviertel across from Darmstadt’s main station is Schroder Property Investment Management, who had bought the asset with roughly 8,000 sqm total lettable space and 93 underground parking spaces in 2004 for a fund of Zurich Invest AG. With a lease rate of 91 %, the multi-tenant building still offers re-letting potential. Main tenant is worldwide project manager Arcadis.
