Zima sells part of the “Römertor” in Gersthofen to HanseMerkur


Zima Immobilienentwicklung is selling part of the “Römertor” residential quarter in Gersthofen, near Augsburg, to HanseMerkur Grundvermögen as part of a forward deal. The sale involves a complex with supervised apartments and small commercial units. It has approx. 6,500 sqm of UFA and has been let long-term to the humanitarian organization Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe. HanseMerkur plans to acquire this building for one of its open-ended spezialfonds in the 4th quarter of 2021, by which time the entire residential quarter, which is being built on approx. 15,600 sqm, should be finished. The “Römertor” comprises eight buildings holding over 200 apartments, with around €65mn in investment costs.
